NIV is an organization which is focused on facilitating the fundamental necessities for advancement of art practice particularly plastic arts and new media arts, with a national cultural vision and outlook on the cultural practice. NIV is creating a legacy for the future as well as ongoing international exchanges through dialogue,collaboration and creative participation. Niv Art Movies is a part of NiV Art Center aiming to make experimental and artistic movies. Niv Art Movies is autonomous film making venture of NIV Art Centre, launched on 29th of June 2013.
Niv Art Centre is an art gallery based in New Delhi, offering an advanced creative space where highly valuable encounters are possible between artists and audiences besides the regular activities of the Centre. Niv Art Centre is conceived to conduct seasonal camps, exhibitions and presentations by individuals and group artists from creative world.

As part of the Centre’s commitment to supporting emerging art practitioners from all over the country and world, we are looking at a diversity of artists working in the multidisciplinary fields to create a lively, supportive and dynamic working environment. We aim to foster the exchange of ideas and experiences amongst artists who work in different fields of art .We hope to nurture the interdisciplinary motivation for collaboration and collective exchange. It will also be possible for artists to interact with a range of institutions.

Though, Niv has the vision and determination to endure in its path towards the changing times to come. Looking to Art in a broader sense, Niv is working in the Domain of Cinema and has produced 4 films, namely, Oraalppokkam(Six-Feet High), Ozhivudivasathe Kali(An Off-Day Game), S Durga, Unmadiyude Maranam(Death of Insane) and Nani.

Producers – Proprietors of Niv Art Centre
Shaji Mathew and Aruna Mathew are the founders of Niv Art centre in New Delhi. They raise money from their small business in textile industry to invest in their love for art. This is purely a non-profitable investment for thesake of Art. Shaji and Aruna has produced Ozhivudivasathe Kali in 2015, which has received huge critical acclaim and audience response.
